MOR MACHINE

Widmer’s owns the State-of-the-Art Mor Cleaning Machine- the only one in Cincinnati. The cleaning process begins with a through inspection. The rug is then vacuumed and inspected once more. Subsequently it is sent to the Mor Machine where a series of jets and brushes clean the rug. It then proceeds to the rinse cycle and goes between the rollers to remove excess water. After cleaning, the rug is inspected once again and it is then lifted up into the huge drying room. The temperature in our drying room hovers between 115 and 122 degrees Fahrenheit. A governor regulates the temperature and air circulates continuously, ensuring that rugs dry relatively quickly to avoid mold and mildew growth. This drying technique also prevents shrinkage and color running. Once the rug is dry, it is inspected for the final time and wrapped for pick up or delivery.
